The web site you are reading right now, <a href=\"https:\/\/indianacatholic.mwweb.org\">Indiana Catholic History<\/a>, uses the phrase <em>&#8220;Keeping the memory alive of those who have gone before us&#8221;<\/em>.  Palmo says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>God love the folks who came before us. They made so much possible&#8230; so much that, maybe, more than just sometimes, we seem to take it for granted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He is so right!  We forget many times how so few carried on the tradition in our Indiana.  Palmo&#8217;s article is worth reading, and reading again.
