Since priests were obliged to keep a record of baptisms, marriages, etc., Lalumiere carried his sacramental record with him. This PDF file is a transcription of the original document, which is located in the Archives of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. When Fr. Lalumiere was sent to St. Joseph Church in Terre Haute, he took the sacramental record with him. When Fr. Bede O&#8217;Connor OSB became pastor of the parish, he began using it as well.
