Today, March 17, 2010, Sister Ann Kathleen Brawley will be laid to rest with her Sisters at Saint Mary of the Woods, Indiana.
Sr. Ann Kathleen was, for many years, archivist of the Sisters of Providence as well as, for a short time, acting archivist for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
She was an extraordinary woman, gentle, patient. She was, for me, a mentor and a model. She taught me much about archival work and she also encouraged me in that work.
She died last Friday and her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated this morning, March 17th at 11:00 A.M.
